  9. Some of you will remember submitting input for support strategies over this 
  10. BBS.  Your efforts in doing so were sincerely appreciated.  Some also answered 
  11. my pleas for help filling empty positions here at Apple and submitting bug 
  12. fix/enhancement requests for the next revs of System Software for the Mac.  
  13. Again, all sincerely appreciated.  May I impose upon you once again?  Apple is 
  14. seeking technically oriented people to help provide technical support over the 
  15. telephone.  The candidates that are most ideally suited for these positions 
  16. will have a strong knowledge of Macintosh applications, connectivity, 
  17. operating system, AppleTalk, Ethernet, general hardware or general software.  
  18. Also needed are people strong in UNIX, possibly including kernal internals, 
  19. shell scripts, C compilers, and other UNIX tools.
  20.  
  21. The candidates should also have polished telephone communications skills and 
  22. good writing skills.  The jobs will be located in Cupertino, California, at 
  23. Apple's main corporate campus.  The positions that are available (there are 
  24. more than a few, I might add) will provide the accepted candidates with 
  25. tremendous growth and opportunity potential.
